I am in charge of the Norwegian section of a new MA programme
in International Studies. The programme is devoted to the study of
international political economy and conflict dynamics. A small group of
students spend one semester in Oslo (Norway) with classes taught by experts
from the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO). The subsequent
three terms are spent at Stellenbosch University (South Africa), following
courses at the department of Political Science. The application deadline is 15
March every year (15 April for applicants who do not need a visa to Norway),
but highly qualified students may be admitted to vacant places after this date.
