This report highlights the importance of the transnational political engagements of Somalis in Norway, focusing mainly on their financial contributions. Whereas the political role of migrant diasporas has not been given great weight in academia nor in practice, our research demonstrates the crucial role that diaspora contributions can play in conflicts and reconciliation processes.
