Education:
Øystein Tunsjø is a PhD candidate in International Relations at University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He has specialized in Asian studies, international relations theory and international history, and is now working on a thesis that explores US perceptions of China and the Taiwan issue since 1949. Mr Tunsjø holds a BA from the University of Oslo, an MA from Griffith University, Australia, an MSc from London School of Economics and a Cand. Philol. from the University of Oslo. He has published in the Aberystwyth Journal of World Affairs and is presenting papers at the Rothermere American Institute at Oxford University in November 2004 and at the British International Studies Association in December 2004.
