Research Interest Elisabeth is investigating how estimates of the probability of conflict may be altered under future climate change scenarios. Presently, she is developing a dataset of climate variables and relationships to economic growth and human health that can be integrated into the model developed by the Conflict Prediction research group.

In 2002-2003, she worked at PRIO as part of the Governance of Natural Resource project. She collected data on the geographic location and physical characteristics of diamond resources and helped analyze the spatial relationship between these resources and conflict.
