Ane Bræin (b. 1970) worked as Eastern Mediterranean Project Manager at PRIO 2001-05. She graduated in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies with an M.Phil equivalent (Norwegian: hovedfag). She is junior co-author, together with Dan Smith, of the forthcoming fourth edition of The State of War and Peace Atlas. She was a civilian observer with the Temporary International Presence in Hebron for one year 2000-2001.
