As of September 1, 2010, Henrik Urdal assumes the position of editor of the Journal of Peace Research (JPR). Urdal is Senior Researcher at PRIOs Centre for the Study of Civil War (CSCW). He has been on the editorial committee of JPR since 2004, and an Associate Editor since 2006. JPR is ranked among the most highly cited international journals in Political Science and International Relations, and enjoys a large international readership. It is owned by and edited at the Peace Research Institute Oslo since its foundation in 1964, and published by SAGE.
