Interview with Voice of America
The proposition to buy at least one (and possibly as many as four) 'power-projection' ship Mistral for the Russian Navy makes certain military sense (though many in Russia are not exactly thrilled), but the loud protests against it in NATO have made it into a political 'test case' for 'normalization' between Moscow and the Alliance.
