Doctoral Stipend: Ministry of Defence doctoral stipend (2008-2010)

Since 1999, the Norwegian Ministry of Defence has supported long-term competence building for research on issues related to defence and security policy by funding doctoral stipends at some of Norway’s key research institutions.  The International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (PRIO) will receive funding for one such PhD stipend — to commence in 2008 — and hereby invites applications for this stipend.
