9 January 2005 the Government of Sudan led by the National Congress Party and the Southern Sudan Liberation Movement/Army singed the groundbreaking Comprehensive Peace Agreement ending 22 years of civil war.

The center-piece of the agreement was the Southern Sudanese pople's right to a referendum on secession or continued unity with the North. With less than 100 days remaining for the referendum deadline of 9 January 2011 this timely seminar provides an unique opportunity to hear the perspectives of an involved party to the peace agreement on the up-coming referendum and post-referendum arrangements. Following the  presentation the floor will be opened for questions to the panel.
