Journal of Peace Research has made a sensational leap to 3rd place in impact factor out of 59 listed journals in the field of international relations with an impact factor of 2.468, while Security Dialogue moved up slightly from last year to 10th place with 1.479. JPR also moved up to 5th out of 128 listed journals in political science. SD is not on the political science list.
Impact factor is a calculation of the average number of citations to articles published in a journal in the previous two years by other journals in the ranking list.
